ArcIMS Map Viewing Tool for Shortgrass Steppe LTER
This site provides a viewing tool for GIS maps related to Shortgrass Steppe LTER research. It uses ESRI's ArcIMS
software. There are 2 ways to view these maps through your browser: HTML viewer and
Java viewer.
HTML Format
The HTML Viewer requires no special plug-ins, but has more limited
functionality. You will not be able to label maps, change color
classifications or save images or layouts. Select one of the links below
to invoke the HTML Viewer.
Java Format
The Java Viewer has more functionality including the ability to label maps,
change color classifications, and save images or layouts. It requires a
one-time download and install
of the ESRI Java Viewer. The first time you click on one of the links
below you will be prompted to load the plug-in. Select one of the links
below to invoke the Java Viewer.
