Biographical Sketch for Chris Pague

Mr. Pague oversees the science activities of The Nature Conservancy in Colorado. He earned his BS (1974) in biological science and MS (1977) in zoological science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Mr. Pague is the former Director/Chief Scientist of the Colorado Natural Heritage Program at Colorado State University and is past Natural Heritage Zoologist with the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation, Division of Natural Heritage. More recently, Mr. Pague organized and led collaborative conservation planning efforts in the Southern Rocky Mountains and Central Shortgrass Prairie ecoregions. His particular expertise is with reptiles and amphibians.
